I do have faith too! It's just about saying that taking for granted the way religions want us to have it is a mistake. One more thing, science cannot explain it all as far as it is restricted to material (la matière). Spirituality is evasive to this kind of science because it does not have to do with material but with psyche, another universe within.

In contrary, I believe that once we’re able to explain how every part of the human brain works, than we might be able to explain certain things. Science can already explain ‘feelings’ so why not spirituality?! Sentiments or any kind of feeling is made out of chemicals present in our human bodies...aren’t they?
In any case the human brain’s capacity has evolved quite a bit; perhaps even since the last decade! Who knows…‘to be or not to be’ you think Shakespeare figured it out! I doubt he knew what he was talkin’ abt!

I agree that it's about chemicals but there is a clear-cut distinction between the palpable and the non-palpable side of the chemicals. Just like the universe, however small is the micro spot science may reduce it to, there will always remain the question: andwhere does this micro spot come from??

Exactly my point, we should look for ‘real’ answers, something which spirituality does not offer. We may never accomplish the ultimate truth, but at least science does push beyond the unknown to any human perspective.

anyways, nice chat...I gotta go, but talk to ya lata coz :)

Egypt bans 'too religious' Matrix

Keanu Reeves has to save the human race in The Matrix Reloaded

Global blockbuster The Matrix Reloaded has been banned in Egypt
because of its "violent" content and because it tackles "religious
themes".
The country's censorship board said the film's storyline, about the
search for the creator and control of the human race, may
cause "crises".
Violent scenes also had the potential to "harm social peace", a
statement said.
The first Matrix movie was released in Egypt but was criticised by
Islamic newspapers for promoting Zionism.
The country's most senior film committee, made up of 15 critics,
academics, writers and psychologists, watched the sequel on Monday.
The press launched a campaign to stop showing the movie, saying that
it reflects Zionist ideas

Wael Abdel Fatah
Egyptian film critic

A statement said: "Despite the high technology and fabulous effects
of the movie, it explicitly handles the issue of existence and
creation, which are related to the three divine religions, which we
all respect and believe in."
The movie "tackles the issue of the creator and his creations,
searching the origin of creation and the issue of compulsion and free
will," it said.
"Such religious issues, raised in previous times, caused crises."
Violence also played a part in the decision, the committee said.
"Screening the movie may cause troubles and harm social peace,"
according to the statement.
One Egyptian critic, Wael Abdel Fatah, said: "The press launched a
campaign to stop showing the movie, saying that it reflects Zionist
ideas, and promotes Jewish and Zionist beliefs."
Box office smash
The film, a follow-up to the 1999 science fiction hit, is currently
number one around the world.
In it, the human race is enslaved by artificially intelligent beings,
and resistance fighter Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, is seen as their
destined saviour.
It has taken almost $550m (£330m) at global box offices, putting it
in the top 20 most successful films of all time.
Japan and Russia have become the latest countries to be gripped by
Matrix fever after it broke box office records.
A further sequel, The Matrix Revolutions, will follow in November.

:ciao:

Yeah :D Although there is "insane" and there is "insane" depending on which category you are refering to. D'u know that it is scientifically proven that genius is a form of insanity, since Lombroso wrote "The man of Genius" in ...1888? Among those genius acknowledged to be insane are Tostoi, Dostoyewsky,Jean Jacques Rousseau,Van Gaugh, Wagner, Paul Verlaine and the greatest of all times: Nietzsche. The other category of insane are of Saddam type:D
